New features in All Comics
Ok guys, we have some good news for you, we have new features, and also a lot of bug fixes! great huh?
We have integrated the wonderfull Comic Vine API with some things to give you a better user experience.
First i'll start with the changes (and bugs fixes):
- The upload process now can handle multiple files at once (well.. when supported, sorry IE)
- The upload, process & optimization steps now are persistents and handle a very good process queue list with only two progress bar, one for the whole progress and another for the current processing comic, that way is lot easier to follow
- There was a bug related with the "DELETE" option on the comics page (A.K.A. My Comics), that sometimes didnt worked so well and now that bug is fixed :)
- A little bug with the scrollbar in the viewer was fixed too
- Multiple performance improvements were applied in the Comic Viewer to get a better reading experience
Justice League: Doom - Review
After a long time expecting an adaption of "Tower of Babel", it is finally here and couldnt be better.
Justice League: Doom, is the new animated movie from DC Comics and its based on the "JLA: Tower of Babel" story. For those of you who have not yet read that comic i extremely recommend it before you watch the "Justice League: Doom" movie, so you have a better idea of what's happening.
The movie is great, it keeps you inside the drama the whole time, the suspence is amazing and the appearance of theHall of Doom (again) is a good detail.
As usual Dwayne McDuffie (RIP) did a great job as he did in "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths".
Warning: possible plot after this line
As a fan of comics i was really expecting the same story and same techniques as in the "JLA: Tower of Babel" comics (which was the one used as reference for this movie) but to be honest, is not so identical. The main idea remains and that's good but there are some details that had to be change (i think) to fit the short movie play time, because, it would take too long to make an exact copy of the comic story, so it needed to be processed.
F.A.Q. Coming soon
Hello everybody.
First of all thank you for the bugs reported, really thank you very much and because of those reports we've been able to solve many, many problems and we've even found a few beta testers that seems to love us :)
Anyway, since we've seen that many of the bugs reported are just "misunderstandings" we're writing a very simple F.A.Q. that might help a lot of people. The F.A.Q (Frequently Asked Questions) will be posted on thisblog and also will be linked from the site as a "help page" so users can troubleshoot some minor doubts.
So, keep uploading, keep reading and (the most important) keep reporting bugs, that way we can get better and better, and who knows, over time maybe we could get perfect! :P (yeah right)
Well, that's it for now and enjoy your comics :)
Oh something else! we have plenty of plans to develop that we think you'll love guys, those includes improving tools, better reading quality, faster process, etc. etc. etc. but you'll see it in the near future.
So, see you guys soon!
Different comic creation stages in time lapse
Web surfing in YouTube we found a video of a time lapse for creating a comic draw (in this case a batman draw).
Is very impresive and a really good result.
Oh yeah, it is a traditional method for comic drawing, not a digital one.
Enjoy it and remember to comment.
